National Portfolio Organisation (NPO) funding 2023-2026

A statement from Tony Isles, UKCCA Chair

"We're very pleased to announce that it was confirmed today that we are receiving our National Portfolio Organisation (NPO) funding for another 3 years from the Arts Council of England.

This enables us to continue with our development, helping build and display the talent and skills of the carnival arts and spread the inclusive mass happiness of the carnival genre in Luton and across the UK.

We'd like to thank all those who have continued to support the UK Centre for Carnival Arts to continue to deliver excellence through some recent challenging times. Carnival can only be delivered by inclusive, accessible teams and at UKCCA we are privileged to have a wonderful team which will help us build for the future!

We're pleased ACE supports our vision for the future. Thanks to all our other funders and supporters, our school partners, the community groups and organisations, our local council @LutonBoroughCouncil, artists who create costumes, those who play carnival music, those who join our various parades and audiences.

Thanks for continuing to believe in carnival and UKCCA.
