Make an Eid celebration collar from paper
You may have already made an Eid celebration headdress (if not, check it out here!). This workshop shows you how you can complete the set with an Eid celebration matching collar - all made from paper.
You will need
3 pieces of A4 paper
Scissors
Glue
Colouring pens, pencils or paint
Print out your templates
We have created some handy templates which you can download and print out. There are four main pieces to create the collar.
If you don't have a printer you can draw these on the paper yourself by copying the picture below, which illustrates the four main pieces you need.
Paint the pieces then cut them out!
Now you can paint your pieces. Get creative! You can choose whatever colour scheme you like, and you may like to match it to the colours you have chosen for the Eid celebration lantern and Eid headdress if you have made them.
Once you have painted the pieces, you can cut them all out. Notice that there is a small flap on each shape - don't cut these out as this is where you will glue the collar together.
Fix your collar pieces together
Now it is time to stick it all together! Fold over the flaps at the edge of each of your pieces and glue them together to create one big shape. Then with any additional stars or lanterns you have created, you can stick them around the collar wherever you like to decorate it.
We hope you like making these. Eid Mubarak everyone!
